When we launched The Curve over a year ago, our original objective was to help adults in the UAE to break out of the rut they were in (a rut we ourselves were stuck in too!) and find something new to learn. It was difficult to find interesting classes and courses in the UAE, and we aimed to make discovery simple and online booking even simpler.
A year on, we have realized that these adults face the same issues with finding classes for their children. As we continuously strive to be the leading destination for classes and courses in the UAE, we want to help solve that problem by adding children’s classes and courses to our site! Dance, art, and even stand up paddling – we’re working on having it all! You can search, compare, and finally book the best classes, courses, and camps for your kids!
You can check out the first selection here and if you are a company that offers children’s classes that you would like to list on our website, please shoot us an email at info[at]thecurve-me.com!
In May we received an email from Good Magazine’s editorial team that really blew us away. In all honesty, we had to read it a few times to make sure we understood properly! In the email, we were being asked to feature in Good’s anniversary issue as part of a feature called Home Grown Heroes that aimed to “celebrate some of the UAE’s most exciting people and small companies.” Without a moment’s hesitation we confirmed and are so delighted with the outcome of the feature. Not only do the photos look fabulous, but we are also so humbled to be featured alongside other great tech startups like Careem, Lime & Tonic, Little Majlis, and more!
Growing a startup is a tough and often dark road, so acknowledgements like this are the little beacons of light that keep us going. Big thank you to Helen, Cherith, and the rest of the Good team for including us, and we’re so proud to be a part of your Home Grown Heroes!
